When Apple introduced widgets to iOS back in 2020 with iOS 14, it was a game changer. Key information from our apps were available at a glance, without us needing to enter the app each time.

However, in a few 2x2 widgets of certain apps, I felt a major design problem, or lack of information more-like, wherein nearly half the space occupied by the widget was blank. This made me think of alternative possibilities, and whether a smaller and compact widget size that has just the right amount of information, without taking up necessary space on your homescreen, would be possible.
